Before Booking

Why is the minimum order 6 guests?

We start our menus at 6 people as that’s most efficient when costing food and having chefs come to your location. You can have fewer people, however! Just specify when you order the number of people (of less than 6) the cost still starts at $600.

How much are additional guests?

The first 6 guests are $600, additional guests are $75 each up to 15 people.

What’s the maximum number of people you serve at one time?

Our maximum for private chef events is currently 15 people. If you have an event for more than 15 people please fill out our event booking form and we will follow up with you.

After Booking

I just completed the booking, what now?

You will be matched with a chef in your area and a member of the team will contact you to confirm within 6 hours of booking during business hours. Once confirmed, get ready as you’re in for an experience!

How do I prepare for the chef’s arrival?

After booking your reservation, you should prepare for your Chef’s grand entrance. Please ensure that the kitchen and dining area is clean and that all needed appliances are in compliance and fully functioning.  If anything is not, please alert your Events Coordinator at least 5 business days in advance. Hosts should provide their own flatware, dinnerware, glassware, napkins, and beverages unless otherwise stated. 

Additionally, please adhere to the following:

  • Remove all animals from the preparation/cooking space to ensure a clean and safe experience,

  • Ensure the cooking and dining space is clean, functioning and ready for your private chef prior to his/her arrival, and

  • Ensure the necessary number of plates, bowls, saucers, and utensils (if applicable) are available.

What happens after the chef is done?

Chefs are required to clean their tools and equipment and tidy up the prep area. Once complete, they will leave the event space. No payments between Host and Chef should be exchanged. Tips and other payments should be made through the Chef X Concepts web portal or authorized payment gateways. You may receive a survey by email regarding your experience.
