Ron Reid arrives in Washington, DC with a wealth of culinary experience gleaned from a storied career in the western United States. Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Ron's passion for food blossomed in his youth, honing his culinary skills in his family kitchen. Throughout his career, Chef Ron has lent his expertise to a diverse array of culinary ventures, spanning national corporate chains like McCormick & Schmick's, where he excelled as both Sous Chef and Executive Chef for two high-volume steakhouse concepts in Washington.

Chef Ron's culinary repertoire is as varied as it is impressive, encompassing a spectrum of cuisines from Americana to Japanese, and everything in between. He attributes his culinary fluency to the rich tapestry of cuisines found in Washington, DC, a melting pot of diverse ethnic influences.

In addition to his culinary ventures, Chef Ron has lent his expertise to restaurant consulting projects throughout the Washington, DC, VA, and MD area, leaving his mark on esteemed establishments like Smith Commons, Sassafras Lounge, and Peachez Café and Lounge, among others. Notably, in October 2012, he had the honor of preparing a Presidential Dinner for President Barack Obama, showcasing his culinary prowess on a national stage. Furthermore, Chef Ron's talents have graced the airwaves as a Guest Chef on Fox 5 News.

Not one to shy away from large-scale operations, Chef Ron has also navigated the intricacies of culinary endeavors at the Washington Convention Center, where he gained invaluable experience in the realm of large-scale catering and exhibition dining, managing the sprawling 2.3 million square feet of space with finesse.
