Chef Gigi came from humble beginnings. Being raised by a single immigrant mother, she spent most of her time growing up in the kitchens her mother worked in. She spent most of my time trying to figure out the ingredients being used. The chef started to teach her & give her chores that would soon make the server’s life much easier. She would make sure the plate presentation was as shown at the beginning of each shift. This opened her creative side. After high school, Chef Gigi worked as a server which started her journey into figuring out her life path. She enrolled in to culinary school and began her new journey. She’s worked alongside some amazing chefs. She assisted Chef Jaimie, the owner of Hank’s Oyster Bar, open her first restaurant. She’s worked at the Convention Center where she cooked for both of the Obama inaugurations. Chef Gigi enjoys helping people find the best version of themselves through a healthier relationship with food. She takes pride in cooking with seasonal & high-quality ingredients to create fresh flavors.
